Order notes
Customers may have special dietary preferences, taste preferences, or specific requirements for dishes. Through the order remarks feature, customers can provide additional information when placing an order, such as "not spicy," "add egg," "less salt and oil," etc., to ensure that the dishes meet their needs. Setting up the order remarks feature can help restaurants better meet customers' personalized needs, reduce misunderstandings and errors.
If you want to add some new order remarks that customers may choose, you can do in Peppr as follows:
1. Backend settings
In Peppr website,navigate to Front of house > Notes > Notes , and click ➕Add new to create a new note.
Choose whether the reason is required?
Required: Remarks are required for every order.
2. POS operations
Add notes to a single item.
Long press an item to bring up a notes popup window and enter select/enter the notes.
Add the notes to the entire order.
Click on the Notes in the bottom left corner and enter select/enter the notes.
Refund reasons
In the process of operating a restaurant, there are situations where customers request refunds. By allowing customers to select refund reasons when applying for a refund, the restaurant system can collect important feedback information related to customer experience and satisfaction. Different refund reasons may reflect customers' dissatisfaction with food quality, service quality, delivery efficiency, and other aspects, helping the restaurant understand customer needs, optimize services, and enhance the customer experience.
So if you want to add refund reasons, you can do in Peppr as follows:
In Peppr website,navigate to Front of house > Remarks > Refund reasons , and click ➕Add new to create a new refund reason.
Choose whether the reason is required?
Required: Reasons are required for every refunded order.
Optional: Choose whether to add comments based on your personal needs before refunding.
You can choose to add a reason to an item refund, partial refund or the entire refund.
Void reasons
After placing an order, customers may sometimes cancel their orders. By allowing customers to select cancellation reasons when canceling orders, a restaurant system can better understand customer behavior and motivations. Different cancellation reasons may reflect customers' dissatisfaction or changes related to food, service, delivery, etc., helping the restaurant analyze customer needs and preferences and optimize operational strategies. Additionally, order cancellation reasons can assist restaurants in better inventory planning and production management, reducing resource waste and cost losses. By analyzing cancellation reasons, the restaurant system can predict changes in demand, adjust inventory plans, and avoid food waste or production waste caused by order cancellations.
